Church of Our Savior
Sunday morning worship for Church of Our Savior occurs at 9 and 11 a.m. Nursery is available at 9 for children birth through pre-K. Fellowship takes place between services on the patio.
During the season of Lent we are called to prepare our hearts and minds for the passion and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. We prepare our hearts primarily through the practice of prayer. In Matthew’s Gospel Jesus warns us about praying in such a way as to impress the people around us. In fact Jesus tells us that God already knows all of our needs before we even ask him. Then Jesus gave us the first Christian liturgical prayer that we know as the Lord’s Prayer. It is a prayer that we pray every week in our worship services and during the season of Lent we are going to take the time to look deeper into this simple yet powerful prayer and how the Gospel shines brightly through it’s beautiful words.
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name”
“Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”
“Give us this day our daily bread”
March 31st – To Forgive is Divine
“Forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors”
April 7th – The Final Exam — Operation Rescue
“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”
