Church of Our Savior is blessed to have Roxane Andrade, who brings her managerial and leadership skills along with her love of children to direct our Nursery and manage special events.

Many of Roxane’s skills developed early in her work for the local church.  Those formative experiences included babysitting and working in the church nursery, volunteering with VBS, assisting on youth ski trips, and helping with children’s Sunday School and other special events.

Roxane was formally educated at Valdosa State University, receiving both a Bachelor of Fine Arts/Public Relations and a Masters in Public Administration.  Her primary work experience has been in the field of University & Non-Profit Administration.  In Jacksonville she has worked with Leadership Jacksonville and as the Administrator of Calvary Anglican Church. In January 2011 Roxane began working as Calvary’s Nursery Director.

Roxane’s greatest volunteer commitment outside of church is with The Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital, the purpose of which is to raise funds for special needs/projects at the hospital.

Roxane moved to Jacksonville in 2001.  Not long afterward she met Troy Andrade (at a Gingerbread Decorating Christmas Party).  They were married November 2002.  The Andrades live in Atlantic Beach with their cat Clementine.

The Lord has not blessed the Andrades with children of their own. However, Roxane is thankful for the special time on Sundays when the Lord brings her little ones to love on, play with, and watch grow in Him.  (And we are so thankful for Roxane!)
