Bible Text: Ruth 1:1-5 | Preacher: David Ball | Series: Epiphany 2019, Ruth | Senior Pastor David Ball continues the Epiphany theme of universal grace by exploring the book of Ruth, a short story, and only one of the literary genres God uses to compose His love story to His people. Ruth is not an Israelite and at that point in history considered not worthy of God’s grace. The tragedies that befall her have their origin in the faithlessness of her husband. Yet from that seed springs God’s gracious redemption, clearly meant for all peoples.
